Employers may follow either - (a) Option 1 : Prescribed approach, or (b) Option 2 : Risk assessment approach. Under Option 1, Low-risk and Higher-risk workplaces are identified, with different prescribed approaches to each. Immunisation for First Aid Officers - first aid officers need to be offered Hepatitis B vaccinations by the employer, if they are likely to have contact with blood or bodily fluids. First Aid Training - Minimum level for first aid officers is HLTFA301B Apply First Aid (sometimes known as Senior and/or Level 2).
